2024 Year in Review

The 2024 Year in Review infographic offers a comprehensive overview of activities and accomplishments within the sector and under the advocacy of ACCPA’s efforts.

ACCPA proudly represents 1,086 members across Australia, encompassing residential, home, and community care, as well as seniors housing and retirement living. We have an impressive net promoter score of +44, reflecting high member satisfaction and a strong endorsement from our community.

Additionally, the majority of members feel they are maximising their membership benefits. Our reach includes three in four aged care providers and 60 per cent of retirement communities nationwide — a +10 point increase from Q2 2023.

Annual Review

ACCPA actively supports its members with over 11,360 interactions across various services.

We’ve actioned 5,428 member support requests, engaged in 4,726 state-based interactions, and addressed 2,091 employment relations matters, ensuring comprehensive and responsive assistance for our community.

ACCPA’s advocacy has been impactful, with numerous submissions at both national and state levels and frequent meetings with politicians and advisors to champion aged care interests.
 
Our efforts contributed to securing government commitment to fund the next stage of the Fair Work Commission Work Value Case, resulting in significant additional funding for wage increases.
 
ACCPA’s presence is further bolstered by consistent media engagement, with multiple releases and widespread coverage, underscoring our role in advocating for a well-supported aged care sector.

ACCPA’s education and training initiatives have provided thousands of participants from both member and non-member organisations with access to a wide range of professional development courses, including specialised programs like the Home Care Workforce Support Program and the Nursing Transition to Practice Program.

Our CHSP Advisory Hub and numerous workshops further support workforce development across aged care.

In our commitment to quality improvement, we’ve expanded our resources, with new tools available in our Governance Portal and an updated Innovation Strategy, alongside partnerships aimed at enhancing workforce skills and promoting industry innovation.

ACCPA’s partnerships and stakeholder engagement are thriving, with strong associate partner retention, broad representation across industries, and robust sponsor support at major events, including our largest National Conference to date.
