Stage 1 – Attract
Reaching job seekers (Personal Care Workers, Enrolled Nurses and Allied Health Assistants) with employers through marketing campaigns at state, regional and local levels. Understanding the talent needs of aged care providers to match them with suitable candidates for employment.
Stage 2 – Support
Through the Home Care Careers Portal at homecarecareers.com.au you can:
- Post and respond to job opportunities in real time.
- Screen applicants for compliance and suitability.
- Communicate directly with applicants.
Stage 3 – Retain
Retaining applicants that were signed onto the Homecare Careers Portal and remained active in the sector throughout stage 1. Retention of home care workers will be a primary responsibility for ACCPA, through incentive and reward programs for new applicants and an employee mentoring program.
Data insights and analytics will drive the application, matching and onboarding process within the Home Care Careers Portal.
Stage 4 – Enhance
Enhancing capability within the sector. Registered providers access toolkits and guidelines to attract, engage and retain First Nations and migrant employees.
Enhancing organisational culture, building employee value propositions and employer of choice status. Assisting providers to transition from high staff turnover environments to a culture of continuing professional development and engagement with staff throughout the sector.
